Hello, it's me again. I know I'm terrible about posting on my blog, maybe one day when I don't feel horrible almost every day I will be able to do something besides just sitting around looking at the four walls. I know I'm pathetic, LOL! So anyway, I haven't been doing much lately but I can post some pics of where I've been taking pictures. I could show you my nail polish collection also. I have always loved painting my nails and now that the internet is around I can find all kinds of cool ideas. I love the Technology age! :-D

This is an Afghan that I made for a challenge that Mikey had on the Crochet Crowd. No I didn't win darn it!

This is the heart that I made from the pattern I posted on an earlier post.

This is a square I thought would look good as a poinsettia.

Tiny Christmas Stockings. This was a very easy pattern.

This is a star afghan pattern but I decided to make a pillow instead. I still haven't finished it yet but I will someday, or I'll make a halter top, lol.

This is a square I started as a CAL in my group Crochet in Common; which is on facebook too. I only got like 2 squares done. I'm so freakin' lazy, lol.

This is Troy Lowery, he was my boyfriend/fiance at one time but things didn't work out between us and he moved back to NY. We remained friends and talked frequently, but then he passed away and I felt so horrible like things weren't finished between us. I miss him terribly and wish I could have told him that R.I.P. Troy <3

These two beauties are my Twins, well they are my brothers twins, but after Mike Holder, my brother, passed away in a car accident I helped their mother raise my beautiful baby girls and Sabrina on the right is an RN now and Samantha on the left is taking classes now to become an RN. I am so very proud of them and I love them so very much!

This is Amara the hut or Jabba the Cat, lol, I'm always talking bad about our kitty. She's such a fat and sassy baby kitty. Well not that much of a baby, we rescued her from the shelter and she was 10 years old in this pic, she is 11 now. Such a big spoiled baby, she has her little kitty bed sitting on the couch between me and her daddy. He spoils her to death, but she has joint problems and can't move around very much and since she can't exercise she has gotten pretty chubby. We have her on weight management food, but she just isn't losing anything so we just love her and try to make her as happy and comfy as possible.

Here is another pic of her, she is so prissy, she is always crossing her paws like a dainty southern lady, lol.

This is a pic I took one day when it snowed, when I took this picture there wasn't any fog or wind or breath outside, it's so strange. It was just as clear as a bell when I was taking this picture. I never thought to take another one because I didn't see the white mass on the screen when I took this pic. I didn't notice it until I came back in and viewed the pictures.

This is a pic of the sexiest man, according to me, on the planet. My beautiful sexy husband William. I love this man with all my heart and soul. He is the perfect man, for me, and never in a million years could I ever find anyone more loving and caring who would give me the end of the world. I love you William more than life itself. You and Josh are my whole world!

This is my Joshy Pooh with his cousin Samantha. I love him so much and miss him like crazy. He is in Colorado at the moment and when I feel more like it I will tell the story of Josh.

Long time!

Well needless to say it's been a while, I know no one is reading my posts so I'm just mainly writing to please myself, but if anyone ever does come see and comment you are more than welcome.

So anyway, the big surprise I had was we bought a house, a double wide mobile home to be exact. It's very nice but right now it's very hot! The temperature here is insane today. Did I say where I was from? I can't remember, but I am in Washington State about 30 minutes from Seattle. It doesn't get that hot here usually but the weather has lost it's ever loving mind right now and it's scorching and people in the Seattle area don't believe in air conditioners because they usually don't need them, but this heat is just horrible right now. I don't think I could ever live somewhere that it stayed over 80 or more most of the year. I'm not a fan of hot weather and I'm not a fan of really cold weather; which is why I moved here, usually the weather is extremely nice and I don't really mind the rain so much.

So the house is a bit cluttered at the moment, my husband was living with his parents when we met and his mother, I love her so much, was a big hoarder. Not a bad one like dirty dishes and rotten food just books and material, she loves to sew and embroider, and dolls and knick knacks. But my darling husband isn't very good at keeping house and I have such a hard time doing things that the stuff is piling up. I will probably go off one day and cry and throw things to get him to clean it up.

The first picture is the living room, the second picture is the kitchen and the last pic is my craft room. This of course is before we moved in, it was actually the day we finalized the papers. I love that he whole house has wood looking floors. NO CARPET! I like carpet but my allergies don't. LOL!

Okay, so now I'm going to show some pics of what the house looks like now, well if I can find them that is.
The first pic is the living room, the second the bedroom, and the last the craft room. I didn't have one of the kitchen uploaded. I really hate the curtains in the living room but I don't have the money to buy any right now so they will have to do. I also hate the bedroom wall color, who the heck paints a wall brown?! I can't paint it right now either because I would need help and William works nights 10 hours so it's very difficult painting around him. I will get things straight one day.

I am going to have the sleeve gastrectomy surgery. It's like gastric bypass but without the bypass part, they just cut most of your stomach out and only leave you enough for about 4 ounces of food or water at a time. I have struggled so long with my weight and got nowhere and now that I have such bad joint problems and arthritis it's gotten worse, so in December I plan on having my surgery and then start losing this weight and then hopefully I'll be able to do more. I am very much looking forward to this life change! :-)

1:20 a.m.

Well it's early or late depending on how you look at things, lol. My sinus's started bothering me so I had to get back up for a bit. Still not ready to tell you what my surprise is since I'm not sure if it's going to happen but I will keep posting if anyone out there is interested.

I've been working on a new project, Yeah I know I should start finishing some of these right, Doh! Well anyway, I wanted a scoodie, a scarf with a hood, so I started crocheting one Friday and I'm almost finished. I know I'm slow but I can't go on and on like most people cause my arms and hands start hurting so I have to take breaks a lot. But I'm so excited to finish it, I'm hoping tomorrow. Then I can get back to work on my other projects and hopefully get them done soon.

Here is an afghan I started I think it was last year and I had to stop because I ran out of yarn and couldn't buy any at the time, so now I have the yarn so I will hopefully get it finished soon. It's called the Star Afghan and it was designed by Michael Sellick from the Crochet Crowd. He only has a video tute that I could find so here is the web address:
Mikey is fabulous and I just adore him so you will love his tute's!

The pic below is called Framed Church Window and here is the website:
One of my crochet friends, Elizabeth Ham, created this pattern. She is such a talented woman and so sweet I just love her!

Okay so that's all for now I will try and post more regularly, no I prolly won't, LOL! Anyway, enjoy life and be happy!

Wow, I had a heck of a day yesterday. I had to go see my vein doctor yesterday at 11 then William took me out to celebrate at Sizzler, I'm not going to say celebrate what yet I don't want to jinx anything but keep watching and I'll let you know later. Then I had Physical Therapy at 2 and 2:30 Occupational therapy. I am so sore today! LOL! But it's a good sore I just dread doing my exercises later, Uggg!

So I found this adorable pattern that I want to share, I haven't made any yet, but I am planning on doing that either today or Tomorrow. I am still working on the 8 point star afghan so I don't know when I will do that but anyway, here is the pattern:

Aren't they just Adorable!!! I love them and it will make a beautiful afghan. Here is the pattern link:
http://bunnymummy-jacquie.blogspot.com.au/2012/06/sunburst-granny-hearts.html. If you do make one of these please share.

Okay that's all for now, I'm going to play some Skyrim and rest a bit. Have a great day everyone!

Okay so my very first Blog! Yay! LOL!

I love to crochet and play video games, I guess because I am disabled and have a hard time walking that has made me veer towards this kind of venue, lol. I picked crocheting back up after I became disabled because I wanted to be able to do something worthwhile besides play around on the Internet, so I found so many crochet sites and so many wonderful people who have such amazing ideas on patterns and designs, I am so envious because I could never think of designs like some I have come across, but that is what is comprised of my day, chatting with my crochet peeps and going back and forth between Xbox, Computer and crocheting.

I also have a wonderful husband who is so good to me, even though I have a ton of yarn my sweet wonderful husband will go out and buy me more. What more could a woman ask! We are in the process of buying a home right now so I will be packing and moving hopefully before the end of October. I would love to be in my new home before Halloween.

So, I am working on several projects in my crochet at the moment, mainly because I will get bored and start something new. I am working on an afghan for my Mother-in-Law, whom I adore by the way, and it's going to be a burgundy, cream and white and it looks like a 3D Flower. I think I can insert a pic so I will try.

Perfect! So that North, South, East and West petals stick up slightly but I do believe that Mom K will love this. They are 12" squares and I found the pattern here: http://www.ravelry.com/designers/julie-yeager. Julie has several patterns of this type and more. So, my next project is a Entralac blanket and here is the pic:

It is very time consuming but not hard at all. You can find this pattern at bethintx on youtube. Elizabeth Ham is her name and if you google her I'm sure you can find the link. She is a marvelous woman and is an exceptional crocheter and teacher.

Ok that's all for now I need to rest a bit. Hope you all enjoy I will be back with more later.
