1:20 a.m.

Well it's early or late depending on how you look at things, lol. My sinus's started bothering me so I had to get back up for a bit. Still not ready to tell you what my surprise is since I'm not sure if it's going to happen but I will keep posting if anyone out there is interested.

I've been working on a new project, Yeah I know I should start finishing some of these right, Doh! Well anyway, I wanted a scoodie, a scarf with a hood, so I started crocheting one Friday and I'm almost finished. I know I'm slow but I can't go on and on like most people cause my arms and hands start hurting so I have to take breaks a lot. But I'm so excited to finish it, I'm hoping tomorrow. Then I can get back to work on my other projects and hopefully get them done soon.

Here is an afghan I started I think it was last year and I had to stop because I ran out of yarn and couldn't buy any at the time, so now I have the yarn so I will hopefully get it finished soon. It's called the Star Afghan and it was designed by Michael Sellick from the Crochet Crowd. He only has a video tute that I could find so here is the web address:
Mikey is fabulous and I just adore him so you will love his tute's!

The pic below is called Framed Church Window and here is the website:
One of my crochet friends, Elizabeth Ham, created this pattern. She is such a talented woman and so sweet I just love her!

Okay so that's all for now I will try and post more regularly, no I prolly won't, LOL! Anyway, enjoy life and be happy!

Wow, I had a heck of a day yesterday. I had to go see my vein doctor yesterday at 11 then William took me out to celebrate at Sizzler, I'm not going to say celebrate what yet I don't want to jinx anything but keep watching and I'll let you know later. Then I had Physical Therapy at 2 and 2:30 Occupational therapy. I am so sore today! LOL! But it's a good sore I just dread doing my exercises later, Uggg!

So I found this adorable pattern that I want to share, I haven't made any yet, but I am planning on doing that either today or Tomorrow. I am still working on the 8 point star afghan so I don't know when I will do that but anyway, here is the pattern:

Aren't they just Adorable!!! I love them and it will make a beautiful afghan. Here is the pattern link:

Okay that's all for now, I'm going to play some Skyrim and rest a bit. Have a great day everyone!

Okay so my very first Blog! Yay! LOL!

I love to crochet and play video games, I guess because I am disabled and have a hard time walking that has made me veer towards this kind of venue, lol. I picked crocheting back up after I became disabled because I wanted to be able to do something worthwhile besides play around on the Internet, so I found so many crochet sites and so many wonderful people who have such amazing ideas on patterns and designs, I am so envious because I could never think of designs like some I have come across, but that is what is comprised of my day, chatting with my crochet peeps and going back and forth between Xbox, Computer and crocheting.

I also have a wonderful husband who is so good to me, even though I have a ton of yarn my sweet wonderful husband will go out and buy me more. What more could a woman ask! We are in the process of buying a home right now so I will be packing and moving hopefully before the end of October. I would love to be in my new home before Halloween.

So, I am working on several projects in my crochet at the moment, mainly because I will get bored and start something new. I am working on an afghan for my Mother-in-Law, whom I adore by the way, and it's going to be a burgundy, cream and white and it looks like a 3D Flower. I think I can insert a pic so I will try.

Perfect! So that North, South, East and West petals stick up slightly but I do believe that Mom K will love this. They are 12" squares and I found the pattern here: http://www.ravelry.com/designers/julie-yeager. Julie has several patterns of this type and more. So, my next project is a Entralac blanket and here is the pic:

It is very time consuming but not hard at all. You can find this pattern at bethintx on youtube. Elizabeth Ham is her name and if you google her I'm sure you can find the link. She is a marvelous woman and is an exceptional crocheter and teacher.

Ok that's all for now I need to rest a bit. Hope you all enjoy I will be back with more later.
